First bash at cake pops part two. Like most things you see up here, these were pulled together in a bit of a hurry using ingredients in the cupboard and my convenient local branch of Spar. I chose lemon to match the left over buttercream in my fridge although actually the quantity used here [Read on...] Virtuousness has been a rarity for me recently, although here I’ve discovered a recipe to coax my inner good girl back out. This comes after making cupcakes for a family party celebrating my grandfather’s 30th wedding anniversary. The theme of this month’s Mactweets Macaron Challenge was “spring flowers”. I have deviated from this a little and taken my inspiration from what spring means to me, it’s Mother’s Day and my mother’s birthday always follows shortly afterwards.
